【Position Announcement】Dean of College of Photonics, NYCU

1.     As Taiwan’s globally recognized leader in higher education and technology innovation, research and development, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) invites applications for the three-year-term position of Dean of the College of Photonics (COP) starting August 1, 2024.

2.     Candidates should possess

A.    A doctorate degree and a full professorship at a university in Taiwan or abroad recognized by the Ministry of Education;

B.    Broad educational philosophy, passion for services, a wealth of administrative experiences, and leadership skills.

3.     Candidates can be considered through nominations or recommendations by means of the following ways:

A.    Self- or internally recommended candidates endorsed by full-time or jointly appointed faculty members in the College (optionally);

B.    Internal and external candidates publicly sought by the Search Committee. An applicant from outside of the College must be recommended by at least three endorsers and approved by the Committee for the candidacy.

4.     Additional salary information: Compensation is negotiable for qualified candidates through the NYCU Faculty Merit Pay Plan (a.k.a. Flexible Salary Program) and other funds.
